Bought an 87 turbo Buick Ltd a couple months ago. Been replacing old stuff. The intercooler shroud/scoop didn't fit too well. Bottom wasn't tight to the IC so only the top screws were in. Putting it back together and have the same problem. The was a short section of rubber hose around the sway bar towards the passenger side. Figure that was there to move the IC up a bit or maybe fix a rattle? I removed it and the shroud still won't fit. No hoses are on and I only have one bolt put in on each IC holder bracket. Still no luck. Ideas? I want to get under the car to check it out, but (admitting my ignorance) I can't figure out how to jack it up since I can't get a floor jack under there. IC scoop air deflectors are in the way. I love this car-sometimes.
