guys the 2 dots on the rods face forward?

Driver side dots face towards rear of engine passenger side dots face toward front of engine

Look at the side of the big end. You'll notice it's not symmetrical to the centerline.... Since we have a split pin crank, the 'thin' sides face each other. (and it seems the bevel on the big end balance pad faces away from each other.

And make sure not to center the wrist pin in the little end when you're hanging pistons, they need to be offset the thickness of a nickle.

I torque the stocks rod bolts o 45ft lbs. Too much?
