stock shifter

I know I read somewhere their a spring to add so thatr the stock shifter locks while shifting one two three. Does anyone have that info? I know it not strong but this a street driven car an I really don't wont to add an aftermarket shifter. Thankyou Mike

i took my stock shifter out and put a b&m quicksilver. it fits in the console and looks great and gives you full ratchet shift , i dont think you can do much with the stock shifter, i heard someone was making a plate but i dont see how it can work with our shifters good luck

There is a special detent plate you can buy to replace the one on the original shifter which prevents from accidentally shifting into "N" or worse, "R" !...
