Caterpillar and Boeing, they are selling at 1995 share price levels, heard it watching news, dont look at growth, look at dividends and long term value

Intel is good buy around $11 or $12 per share

By the way, I went to school for finance and computer science, but prefer Buick Grand Nationals as my hobby...

MY ex wife only lost 1% of her investment portfolio becuz of my adjustments to her investments

Can't hurt. Buy a handful so that if you did lose, it'd would break the bank. Al three of those are good names, I would be happy to own a portion. Don't go crazy, play it semi safe.

Harley Davidson is another good buy, at $16.88

Intel is at $14, so wait until it goes down to around $11 or $12

Agressive Investment for 2009
Annaly Capital - deals with real estate
Lowe's
Trans Ocean
GE

Volatile Investment for 2009
Apple, Cisco, Medco Health, Dentsply

SAFE investments for 2009
Duke Energy, Microsoft, Southern Company, Johnson & Johnson

Look at Failing Companies that Change Management, Implement New Ideas, Rasie Capital for Investment as BIGGEST PROFIT gains that can push almost 300% growth... be cautious, but be active, have to look at dividends as the stocks reinvest back into the company and shares increase in value and then split, 2 for 1, etc...

Another view is Buy Growing Companies with lower P/E during sluggish economy, I used to like 17 as the magic P/E , but today look lower, maybe 12, 13...

there has been 24 recessions, and we always recover on average in 12-16 months

Look at Consumers buying cheap products, Dollar store, McDonalds, another good buy for stocks, I can't think of the cheap stores or the ones that are growing or offer stock shares to buy, I dont shop there, and I dont buy/dont eat fast food, however I do buy mcdoubles for my great dane dogs, they love'em, 3 dollars for 6 burgers, ahhh, you should see the drool, man that slimy dog drool can hang from their mouth to the ground if you dont feed 'em quick enough, gotta surprizzzzzze 'em, my male brindle dane drooling sounds like the kitchen faucet leaking on the floor hard and boy does it make it a slippery floor....

The word is that this year is reflective of 1931, 1932, but people are hoping the fed fights hard to make it more like 1987 recession.... gold is good choice... inventory supply is HUGE... GMAC financing is great if people have jobs and confidenece to buy, otherwise I would not buy a new GM car, maybe like real people they could sell their vehicles like GNX # 001 and GNX # 500 if they really need money... if I needed money I would have to sell my house and toys... if I could sell my house....

I refinanced my house Dec 15, 2008 and got a 30 year, 5.0 % fixed rate VA Home Loan, house payment will be $393 per month for principal & interest, real estate tax, insurance, overage/shortage AND NO PMI, becuz I am an army veteran, Just heard today (12/31/2008) that 5.10% is the lowest rate for 30 year fixed rate EVER, however, my credit score is 771, 778 & 797 using transunion, experian, and equifax on 12/15/2008... also I am going into 2009 with zero credit card debt...whew, now I gotta stay away from buying buick parts... or going on caribbean vacation for a month...

I heard on TV that the first half of 2009 is recession and 2nd half is recovery, fuel prices are predicted to go back up around $3.00 per gallon by memorial day, I dunno about fuel prices, but I read that online.... I could have bought stocks and mutual funds, but look at how much people lost...

Bill Gates investment portfolio is down $13 BILLION, what did he start with...
Paul Allen cofounder of Micorsoft is part owner in charter and he is getting out, I met Paul Allen 5 years ago and Woody Johnson through the limo business...

if you have money questions, investment, ask, I offer free help... I wanted to buy google stock when it was IPO at $105 per share and edward jones where I had money invested said no you dont want to go there, well, I pulled all my money out and google shares have shot up to as high as $700 per share or more and down to $305 today...
