If you decide to put a seperate system in the shed you must hide or conceal the main panel. The shed is so small it would take less than 20 seconds to disable the entire system. Anyone with basic 'alarm' knowledge could this.
The ideal system is the partition like Kevin mentioned. The main panel, communicator and power supply are nice and safely hidden in the main house.
You will have to upgrade the main panel and keypads to do this.
