I was wondering if anybody had a tip on stripping the paint off some vector style late model t type rims?

99% of the ones we do are sand blasted....

Cleans up a lot of imperfections and leaves a good profile
for adhesion.

yup blast em or take em to a plating shop they can chemically strip em

I'm going to try soda on the next pair I do. The It shouldn't disturb the polished surface quite as much. You polish with Buffing compuound, tripoli at first and then white rouge to color the part

I really have to find someone that does soda blasting; I heard it's one good way to strip things. Anybody know any place in the san fernando valley?

Soda, Dry Ice, Plastic Media, or Glass bead will give you a
smoother profile making it easier to polish.
