Went through emissions this morning, passed with flying colors. While idling in line with the a/c on, I got more and more of the E85 smell. Rolled the window down and no issues. No fuel on the ground, fuel level not dropping like there is a leak. When I used to spray denatured alcohol in an alky kit, I would get a whiff of that also. Just wondering what this could be. Evap cannister?

Check injectors for external leakage. Check fuel pressure regulator too.

Same thing happened to a local buddy. He had to switch fuel lines I think twice? Before he went to PTFE and it stopped. You could grab the fuel line with your hand and your hand would smell like gas. It was bad.

For our local guy, going to PTFE lines I believe fixed it.

Find some good, affordable ptfe lines and try them out.

Www.anfittingsdirect.com is a good place to start.
