mounted it right on top of the dash to the right side of the steering wheel. i used 3M double sided velcro tape. i wired my signal and ground wires to the ALDL by splicing male terminals on that mate to the female ones on it. i spliced my power wire to my radio feed wire using a scotch lock connector. this way, it's only powered when the key is on. i will send you a picture when i figure out what's wrong with my digital camera. hope this helps.

I spliced into the orange wire behind the ALDL so that I could still plug in T-Link. I also used velcro. First I mounted it on the radio pod but then moved it to the left side of the dash next to the pillar mounted boost gauge. I didn't have enough eyes to see everything when it was on the radio pod.
