I look at my Yahoo home page and there is an article "Thirteen Canned Biscuit Hacks". Seriously, who decided this word is a substitute for "Tips"? Just another attempt at bad slang by literary "hacks". There are plenty more, none of which have anything to do with high tech intrusion into an electronic device: survival hacks, life hacks (wth would that be), etc. It must not take much education to become a writer these days.

Goes hand in hand with the schools no longer teaching basics. If people do not read well they do not realize things are not written well. :(

I'm glad I know how to use the word hack.

"My girlfriend cheated on me with some hack, so I had to hack her head off slowly with my hacksaw."

D

It's a play on using hack in terms of computer "hacking" or being a hacker.

Waaay back, cab drivers called their cabs "hacks".. Guess they didn't care, correct or not.

Somewhat off topic, but,,, Prison guards were once called hacks, screws, or bulls.
