Is anyone aware of a chip designed to improve/increase performance of the series II 3800 with the supercharger? I have one in a '93 Olds Touring Sedan. (man, what a road car!) but would like it to have capacity.
Thanks,

PCM

there are no chips..the powertrain control module(PCM) must be reprogrammed

is it a tornado??

Thanks for the info, kind of what I figured. To answer your question, No, I own a model 98 touring sedan, it's just like all the other 98's untill you sit in the seats and step on the gas and open the supercharger. I bought this car over a '91 420 SEL and a '98 Cadi STS. It will out drive either in the mountain passes between Spokane Wa. and Missoula, MT.
Thanks again, now I guess I need to learn more about programming the PCM.
By-the-way, I learned today that K&N does'nt make a performance filter for this car! Have you gat any feed back on the Fram airHogs?

there are factory replacement K&Ns, buti have a 9" K&N cone filter on mine....take the whole airbox out...you'll hear the supercharger whining then
some people do cut the insides of the stock airbox out to make it less restrictive, if you like stock appearance
i'll put some pictures of what i've got up this weekend

Thanks for the response. I spoke with the local K&N expert here and looked at doing exactly what you did with the cone filter, but I was told that I should not mess with (remove) the existing filter housing due to the sensor that is in the Airfilter box. The tech was afraid it would mess with my computer (air fuel mix).
We checked the K&N book and found nothing to fit the stock box, but Fram makes an Air Hog that would fit in the existing box.
Know anybody with experience or of testing comparing the K&N -vs- the Fram? (I wouldn't mind the Whine!)
I look forward to your Pic's
Tanks Again
