Wow!!! How many already in the 7s? I count over five...

I count 8 MKIV Supras in the 7's on the stock IRS, 1 with the factory 6spd. Vinny Ten ran in the 7's many years ago with his (7.30's @191mph), but it was a big tire backhalf car so it really doesn't count.

Otherwise the list would look something like this according to what I found~

Gary White- Titan Motorsports~ 7.66 @188mph
Kean Wang- Boost Logic ver2 Supra~ 7.75 @186mph
Jamie Carter- AP~ 7.81 @187mph
Kean Wang- Boost Logic ver1 Supra~ 7.86 @186mph
Paul/Krystos Efantis- MSP Racing~ 7.86 @182mph
SW **6spd**- Boost Logic~ 7.91 @188mph
Mustafa Atat- Al Anabi Qatar Racing~ 7.93 @181mph
Vijay Ramkissoon- Big Daddy Performance Center~ 7.95 @180mph

and who reached that magic 6 number first the supra or the GN? the debate is huge in the import scene

Well considering no Supra bodied car has technically ran in the 6's (Vinny is still the fastest with a 7.30) and Len recently did it with Duttweiler's old car I guess it would be the GN. Honestly, Duttweiler ran 6.89 @204mph with the Olds bodied car before the 2JZ's were even in the 7's and before that Buddy Ingersoll was damn near in the 6's back in the 80's with the ex Warren Johnson Olds Cutlass that was rebodied as a Regal.

Eventually though when the import scene took off especially with the NHRA sport compact series there were several Toyota 2JZ Supra powered Pro cars in the 6's. Here's a list of those cars and oddly enough there are also 8 2JZ powered cars in the 6's~
