I have a BRF that is slipping in 1st and second. I got another tranny from a buddy that is coded "OG", I know the OG was behind a 307 motor and are not desierable. So, I swapped the governer, servo and valve body from my BRF to the OG. Will this work just to get me back on the road while I'm rebuilding the BRF and do I need to move any check balls around to go from the OG valve body to the BRF?

If you paid close attention to how everything was in the brf it should work fine. Boost valves in the pump are likely smaller in the OG trans but it'll get you around. You should have used the plate and check ball/accumulator spring arrangement from the brf as well as the wiring and plug, but even if you did not it will likely drive around fine with all the gears, it just may not shift very nicely and may burn up easier under heavy foot action. Then again it may work beautifully depending on what the OG had in it to start with, not many working 200s out there that someone hasn't been in and fooled around with at some point in time.

I did the same thing with a fresh stock OG and a bunch of CZF parts I had. No tire scorcher but it is a good cheap spare tranny.
