symptoms of faulty torque converter?

What are symptoms associated with a faulty torque converter? I think mine maybe bad. Extremely sluggish, and builds boost extremely slow. Also car will not to a burnout anymore.

My AC 9" was bad. Would not build boost until over 5K RPM, Coming out of TB was like real mushy and no torque multiplication.
Nailing it though it acted reasonably normal.

You have a converter and / or stator problem....Period!

I'll bet the splines on the stator are stripped and/or the converter is dead.
Problem is the metal went somewhere and throughout the trans you will find it.
The easiest way out right now is replace stator with hardened one and buy a new converter of the same design you have now and go.
