T&D roller rockers

is there a way to shim my T&D roller rockers (shaft) up higher? do they make shims that go between the rocker shaft and head (pedastal)?
i am putting this 4.1L together and was measuring for pushrods and i dont like the way the rocker shaft sits, the roller tips sit far back on the valve stem. seem too far to me, as the rocker pushes the valve down doesnt it roll back further on the valve stem? (toward center of engine) need advice plz,

Be EXTREMELY careful if you shim the shafts...
