Ok, the atl light is still on, needs a jump to start it again EVERYTIME, guy at autozone said the alt was fine but i don't think so, so gonna take it back get a new 1. OTher then that guys, it over heated but i think it was due to the prob in the radiator didn't have good contact. So fix that n seems ok HEAT WISE, Black liquid was coming out of the exhaust so thinking the whole carbon +water was mixing so it was rich im sure. THinking of the 02 but NEVER did this before so i was stunned but i heard a sucking noise, saw this T fitting with one side off but IDK where id goes so NEED HELP THERE, still new to these cars. Its not the big T fitting its the smaller one guessing to do with boost or map sensor IDK. the car runs but real smooth n the lights (all) are dim n when i turn it off its a no go to start it again its like its dead. Batt checked out fine for sure. Need help with that t fitting guys. Thanks
 
well got a new alt since i had LLT, put new gold contacts on the back of it. Put in all together n still the alt light is on n the power is dim n dies out. SO WHAT NOW?? im gonna get the batt checkout again if not that could it be the ground wire on the firewall ??

Start with the basics. Have you checked the wire that goes from the battery to the alternator? I was chasing my tail until I found it grounding out on the block. Checking your grounds is also a good idea.

Can u be more specific about the T-fitting, or post a picture of it?
 
The T was going to the vac block on the far right side port by the firewall(front view of engine). looks like to the brake boost but didn't follow it, just woke up n still got a fever haha so doing my best. I bypass it ,took off the t-fitting and the hose it had on there then just put in the the vac block, ran ok but it didn't go when i gave it gas so sure it was not right. Well i can't find the hose that went to the left side of the T-Fitting, so i put it back the way it was and it just sucking air through the left side of the T. Again i never heard this air sucking sound before n my boost gauge is reading PSI at idle not alot, about 1psi but is on and off type of deal. i'll get some pics if my manual won't help or something. SUcks :mad: this car was working just right!! sucks!!:cool:
 
wait wait can someone please post a pic of the back of their alternator. would help alot !!! more the marry ERR:smile: :smile:
 
Check the positive battery connection on the starter. Main power feed for the car comes from there. Break up your posts there man, so we can follow and try to help with each problem a little easier.
 
ok ok put a new starter(llt at autozone) so put that, cleaned up the grounds to engine block, contacts to starter etc, juiced up the batt n the alt light went away but there is a whine guessing i didn't put the starter in right, what is the right way to do this?? thanks
