I seem to remember a company/website that sold refurbished laptops with the Turbolink software. It's been a year or two ago and I don't know where to look. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi Jeff!

We are establishing new dealers and vendors, so I don't know of any right this instant that still do that.

However, drop me some email and we'll see what we can do to help? Thanks!

I'm sorry, I did some brainstorming and figured it out on my own. It was DirectScan I was thinking about, and the website is BM Computer Source. Does anyone have any 1st hand experience with this system?

I really like DirectScan and TurboLink. Which one you need really depends on your application.

They both have good and bad points.

If you plan on going below 12.50's I'd say you'll need DS because of its high refresh speed (about 18 frames per second).

However, if ease of use and helpful troubleshooting is your needs then you might want to take a look at TurboLink.

Ken has a really nice comparison set up on the TurboLink website.

Comparison Chart Check out that link.

Hope that helps!

I actually bought my GN from Bob of BM Computer Source. It's a great car, and I'm happy with it. This doesn't pertain to their computer deals, but I would feel happy doing business with them again.
