T350 question - totally non TR related...

Hi All,

We just swapped out the slipping 200R4 in my son's '85 MCSS for a built Turbo 350 (I got a good core out of it ), but we can't seem to find a TV (kickdown) cable that works with the stock manifold bracket and a Holley 3310 carb. We need a cable that measures 4" from mount bracket to carb stud, the only ones we can find measure 6", way to long! Anybody got any ideas?

Move the bracket back 2"??? Seriously, I'm not sure, but I think the bracket for the 200-4r and the T350 are different...You may try to find a bracket from a salvage yard for the T350 tranny...

Hey Jim,

I think I'll use that fix as a last resort - oddly enough, the other 2 cables fit up just fine (throttle and cruise), so I expect to be able to find a TV cable that will too. I was just hoping someone else had run into this before and had a (cable) solution.
