Besides the turbo (and a new chip of course), what other modifications are needed to fit this bigger turbo? I have heard things about the IAC, actuator mount, turbo shield and bracket, inlet and outlet pipes and hoses, adapter for MAF, etc. Just want to see what all I need to start accumulating besides the turbo. Thanks

Did everyone miss this? Thought sure I'd get some answers. I know there are issues so I'm just trying to plan ahead.
Thanks

What compressor cover for the 6262? Bison made my MFS 62mm in a stock housing. I know there is a "E" compressor cover 3.0" inlet/2.0" outlet and a "S" compressor cover 4.0" inlet/2.5" outlet. With the S you would need a IAC angle boss for the plumbing to clear the IAC. Some covers you may need to trim your turbo shield to fit.

Is your TA-53 worn out? Have you ran your new setup with it? How much boost are you running?

I believe I was "looking" at the ported S cover which has the larger inlet and outlet.
The TA 53 is not worn out and probably only has a few 1000 miles of local driving on it. I finally went to the track (this is a street fun car) for the first time in many years a month ago with some friends. Drove in off the street, didn't touch a thing (about 24-25 lbs in the M/T drag radials) and ran an 11.54 @ 119 at about 24 lbs boost and a 1.8 60 ft. I know there is a lot still in it but I'm just looking at options. And for a street car, I really don't need any more. Cost of a conversion is a consideration so that's why I asked this question. I know the 6262 is bigger than the TA53 on both sides. Just something to think about --thanks.

I have different size couplers and t clamps if you need them let me know. 4"-3" 3"-3.5" and some others. I'd have to check.
