TC lock-up question

Was at the track last light and locked up the TC at start engine/trans was surging and lost of power unlocked the TC durring the run and was fine after that. I did the same once before but did no have this surging problem.

At what speed did you lock it up? I would shoot for 80+.

I locked it off the start.

Lock it up right after 3rd gear.....75-80mph...it saves on the clutch as well
