how many pounds of boost is the te44 the strongest at? i know someone will say the more the better but ive heard people say that its sweet spot is at this ___ many pounds. thanks jerrad

Depends on your air charge temp. I get 26 psi out of stock turbo and my 49 is set at 25 psi now. There is no particular sweat spot for ones car because of the diffenent combo's. I run alky and it cools the charge like its a 50 degree day out in 80 degree weather. FM, I have no experience at , but im sure it cools the air charge very well also. If you run race gas on a stock set up then I would say around 24psi

Mine runs best at 26#. I'd try more boost but I have to pull like this on the WG arm just to get 26#.

when I had my TE-44 and 50's combo with a stock intercooler...my setup liked 24-25 psi but I ran it as high as 27-28 psi with the alcohol injection (not that I would recommend this boost)...then short after I blew my first and only headgasket
