The reason I am selling this turbo is because I changed set-up on my car. This turbo ran amazing, extremely quick spool up and also pulled great on top end. The turbo is polished so it looks great in the engine compartment. When I bought this turbo, I paid 150$ more for the polish. When I took the turbo off the car it was working fine and performing well, had ran my best ET and MPH a few weeks before. The only bad thing about this TE44 is that one of the fins on the exhaust wheel is chipped, look at the pictures and you will see what I mean but it didn't stop the turbo from peforming well. There is some shaft play but there always was. If anybody is interested I would like 395$ plus shipping. If you don't have a thdp I will give you the exhaust housing with it, just let me know.

Sometimes its hard to help someone without seeing the car, just make sure you don't hear vacuum leaks and if you do that means that line has to be hooked somewhere. Yes this turbo is a direct stock replacement. If you have a bone stock car you might have to remove the tube that goes from the passenger valve cover to the inlet of the stock turbo and you will only have to put a small breather on the valve cover. You could use stock injectors all the way up to 60lb injectors depending on your set-up and how much boost you are planning to run. A stock chip or any good aftermarket chip as long as they are calibrated for the injectors you are using.

would you take any parts in trade for the turbo?

Not really, unless you have a good turbo buick crank.
