Where is it?

My engine isn't here, so I can't look. I bought an Autometer Ultra-Lite temp gauge, and plan to disconnect the idiot light (don't trust it anyway). But, I don't know where to route the sender. Autometer didn't give me a lot of slack. If it needs to go to the passenger side of the block, it's going to be tight using the existing hole in my firewall (don't want to have to drill a new one).

TIA,
Jim

Below and just to the p/s of the thermostat housing.

Altho you'd like to lose the idiot light, I wish I coulda saved mine. I could never find any 'T' big enuff for that humongous stock sender. Some people like to put their sender in the side of the block under the d/s header, but I had 2 problems with that: 1 the square headed plug is a B**** to get out, and when I did I found that the hole is smaller than the vdo sender.

Anybody got any tips for me??
