the 60' beams were apparently not working.

I would have loved to know what they were too. I was told it popped a wheelie and I would have loved to have seen that too. LOL.

It left very hard, bent my seat bracket too. That and my stereo is the only thing that broke. I guess I can't complain too much, LOL:biggrin:

How do you like the GT6776? you have a convertor too? I just got a PT6776S and havent had a chance to drive it yet with the new turbo

no complaints, I like it well. It seems to pull very hard on the top end.

I have a Pats 10" LU 3400 It will leave at 34-3650 on the foot brake at 6-8psi

Thats the exact same convertor I just bought from the Christmas specials. I'm glad to hear it works good together. I have a stock block unopened, so Im hoping it will all work out good together

What kind of cam do you have? Head work?

Reason i ask is because the times dont seem as good as they should be with that turbo.... I'm not trying to take anything away from you ofcourse ;).

I have a flat tappet 218/218 in my motor. I went 12.0 @112mph with a 1.7 60' my first time at the track with my car. That was with a t63-e turbo running 17psi on 93 octane pump gas.

Only thing i can think of is that your 60' is not great. How well did the car launch?

With a good launch you should be well into the 11's on pump gas with that turbo .

No head work except for flashing removed and 125# springs.

The launches was very hard, 15psi on first of 4 runs, the track aborted my 1st run for some reason. And they were not clicking 60` that day. weird. Everyone that seen the car launch said that it lifted the drivers tire well off the ground. Plus I bent my seat brackets:mad: The last 3 runs I calmed the launch down and it still pulled the wheel.

The 111.97 mph run I added 8% fuel at wot in the translator. Only thing I did different.

I honestly don't expect much more out of the setup on pump gas and 20#s boost. Next TnT I'll have a 27` timing chip in, 110 CAM2, and turning the boost up. I hope that puts the car in the 11s. then I'll have to do some serious head work to go faster:)

Update

I took the car to test n tune last thursday. got one run in.

1.70 (launched at 18psi spinning, track surface 50 degrees)
7.76 @ 90
12.00 @ 114

All I did different was put the TT race chip at 26deg timing.
Put 110 gas in it but I don't think it got to the motor (still had some 93 in it)
boost at 20lbs

I know it's gotta have an 11 second pass in it. That 1.7 sixty felt soft compared to the other time. Can't wait to get it out again and start turning the boost up.:)
