Is there a way to test it? I'm having code a 34 low maf signal. Replaced maf no change

With key on/engine off. Note the MAF reading on a scantool. If you slowly depress the throttle and the reading goes up, the ECM isn't getting a signal. If it stays the same the ECM is talking to the translator.

Also, pop the lid open and make sure there's no water in the box. If you find moisture, put it in a large crack bag, inflate it a little and set it in the sun.

Yep it goes up when I hit the throttle

That means the ECM is guessing at the air flow instead of getting the real reading from the translator. Sounds like you have a translator problem (which is pretty rare) or a wireing problem between the translator and the ECM. Has any underhood wiring been getting intimate with spinning pulleys?

Do you have anyone local that you could swap parts around with? That would make troubleshooting so much quicker and easier.

Yeah I have a few guys around I could maybe swap translators with or swap a stock maf on there. What do you mean about the pulleys

He means are any wires nicked by the pulleys.
