My kid didnt get to sleep till 4 this mornin, I think were gonna be waitin for her till 4 this afternoon to open gifts. Shes 19 now.
I should open ALL the gifts now like she did when she was 5 or so.

A sorta last minute word that I'll have a job for at least another month. Way things were going, it was looking like Dec 30th my co-workers and I were getting kicked out the door. Now we have till end of Jan. If someone doesn't pony up and buy us by then, we're done.

Our neighbors (the ones we actually like) baked cookies, and brought us over some yesterday.

Besides that, its another day. I got my dad and sister each a satellite radio for their car, and I'm paying for my dads subscription and getting my sisters started for her. They both commented on mine over the past year or so, and both do a lot of traveling, so it was naturally an easy choice. Also got my sister a jump pack to carry around with her, since she goes all over driving.

But we don't even have any plans or anything. Weather is supposed to get really bad, so driving down to my sisters today isn't a good idea. The older of my 2 younger sisters and I are the only ones who really give a crap about trying to get family together for anything. My dad doesn't care, and my youngest sister has pretty much disowned the family in the past year. We barely got 3 of us in the same house for Thanksgiving this year, so a Christmas dinner is looking like a bust.
I think, starting next year, I'm just gonna start having dinner with my sister and her BF, celebrating what used to be a family holiday, and go volunteer somewhere I actually feel useful.
