Pretty good show tonight.

I seen em in 82 at the Pontiac Silver Dome... I think it was thier first final farewell tour..lol... girlschool and the clash opened up, then while home on leave in 88 I seen em again in Pontiac at their second final farewell tour..

all them years ago

Pretty good! Daltrey seemed to be struggling but what do you expect for being in his 60's. Loved watching the old clips with Moon drumming and I think Entwhistle is one of the best bass players ever. Has to be strange for them to be looking over to that part of the stage and not have him standing there. Moon has been gone almost 30 years now! Who's Next is one of my favorite album of all time.

Oh yeah The Who was in my book back in the 70's & 80's & still is.
MY GENERATION song will never get old. Also Pinball wizard.

That was a good ROCK HONORS show

Mised it unfortunately, but caught the farewell tour in 82 (RFK stadium) and about 5 years ago on the Quadrophenia revival. Great shows both times.

What did you guys think of the covers?

I liked the opening from the foo fighters, Got the "who by numbers" in the cd player in the car now, I had forgot how much I enjoyed playing thier songs on guitar...wish I brought at least my box guitar down with me when i moved...kinda stir crazy the past couple of days.

I used to crank up amp on front porch and jam "relay"...lol neighbors loved me

Man, I missed it:frown: I'll have to search for the next showing on my Tivo. Even though I'm younger...I enjoy the Who:smile: I grew up with my dad listening to them all the time.

On a side note, my dad was at that concert in '78 here in Cincinnati when a few people were killed because of a mad rush to get into the concert. My mom was very worried when she saw it on the news and he wasn't home yet. At the time, I was only a few months old lol.

Did you notice who is playing drums?

Zak Starkey, Ringo's kid.....................

I grew up watching the Who and they just dont have the fire anymore....Time for them to retire, it just isnt the same......

Listen to Live at Leads if you want to hear them at their best!
