There's that boost problem again..

Ok, here we go again. Last time, i was backfiring and sputtering with the boost guage going crazy at about 1/2 throttle. I found that the coil pack was the culprit, and all was well for about 3 days, until now. It's happeining again, this time i don't even get enough throttle for the scanmaster to record o2's. Backfiring, looks like boost surges to about 20# before sputtering, and popping until I completely let off. Coil pack is new, plugs(gapped at .35) are new, plug wires are new, I unplug the waste gate solenoid, but nothing changes, except i can only get to around 11-12 lbs when the $#%^ starts up again. I'm just about out of money, and out of faith in my car. Someone please help.

Sounds like a fuel problem. Hook up a fuel pressure gauge taped to your window and take it for a ride and make sure it is climbing and not dropping when the boost kicks in.

Fuel is fine... the backfiring goes on!!

How about the hoses going to wastegate solenoid ?
are they dry rotted or cracked ?

the hoses seem fine, i tested them with compressed air, no leaks..

If you still have your stock WG actuator I would try it..

Found the problem!!!!! One of the wires from the module to the coil pack was off.... I'm such a doofus!!! oh well.. now i know what to look for if it happens again...
