what will it run at the track 20psi

well if i can get my saftey loop on when i wake up i will be hitting the track for one or two runs, dont know if iam going to run cam2 or 93 pump gas, i will have a jl93 chip for sure and some et streets. I am having some top end problems [wiped cam] but would like to get a time on it . I am hoping to get a 11.99.9 but i would be happy with a good 12sec run.

last run was

13.06 @ 110.1 2.36 60' because of 1800 stall:eek:

i guess you guys dont like my poll ha. Thats ok because i could not even go today, so the date is set for friday as long as my wife does not have our new born soon.

this is what i will have ,

93 chip 20*
93 and 110 mix most 110
22-24 psi boost
et streets 26 +11.50
i will leave the light at 10-12psi lanch

last time at the track with no stall was

13.0@ 110.1with a back fire at the end , 1/8 was 8.7@89mph with a 2.36 60'

let try again , pick a time, any time

looks like rain friday maybe, so i might be back to sunday again.:( gotta change the plugs and put a new alt belt on and iam ready. i guess 7 on the poll out of 70 people is not to bad.:rolleyes:

they say its going to be in the 50's on friday if it does not rain.

You've already proven the mph is almost there. A little more boost and timing than before, locking the convertor and a good 60' I would bet you could see high 11s. If there are no problems and the car runs good I feel confident of very low 12s or high 11s. I wonder how it will hook with the 3,000 stall?

I too had an 1,800 (at most, more like 1,500) convertor and after the Vigilante 2,800 the car not only came out of the hole much harder but it felt stronger up top. Not sure how this can be since I've always thought a loose convertor takes away mph. I'm interested if you gain or lose mph with the new convertor. BTW, I'm guessing 11.99 if all goes well. I wish i had a race chip to run but i only have a street chip. I think it will get up and go fine but i to dont know how the mph is going to do. If it does not go 11's now then it should when i put the new cam and port my heads with some real tuning.
 
I forgot the track that i got to is 300 ft above sea level so this might help i hope.:)

sorry its taking so long, its another rain day on test and tune. Sunday i will go and get a time as long as the rain is gone. :)

Well com'on man what's the deal, quit stalling and keeping everyone in suspence, oh i know you've busted a few 13.20's and your waiting for that 12.00 time slip then your gonna spring it on us. com'onnnnn!!!!
 
no passes yet, they keep getting rained out and they had a import race this past weekend. Now all i need is a alt and if it does not rain iam going to bust out some good 12 sec runs for ya's.

hope it does not rain i going crazy every week it seems like something else.

Well i got two runs in last night, both with some problems. The big cracks in the headers are killing my spool and making it run pretty rough. spool was very slow on both runs, it would hit fool boost at the very top of every gear but at any thing under 4000 rpm it was at 10-12 psi and 16-17 on top.

This is what i ran, 26+11.50 et streets , 93 chip, 93 pump gas, and 16-17 psi boost, This is my street trim the way it is drove every day, most of the time a little higher boost.

1st run

not to bad for having bad leaks, 2nd run had a mis and did not even want to do a burn out.

if i can get the leaks fixed , i will be going back sunday if no rain. cam2 and 22-24psi.
 
Good runs. Cant wait to see what she'll do with no leaks and some real boost. (about time by the way)
 
i didnt think i was ever going to make it, the bad thing is the header are my big problem now and i have no money to get a good set. these are cracked on both side were the 3 pipe meet the collecter[ in the middle] .

time to save for the ss atr headers.
