Tiptronic question, if you set it to 2nd at a stop will it leave in 2nd gear?

nevermind, because you posted this on a buick turbo transmission section i assumed a 2004r , then reread your title

i thing it stays in 2 like a manual ,
the th400 with manual valve body works similar , if you put it in 2 its in 2 until you change regardless of speed
