Tire Size

In everyone's experience what is the tallest and widest tire that will fit on a GN.

I love this look and am looking for the samething.

Anybody have any ideas.

I know a ten inch wheel would work granted you have the right backspacing. I have a Convo Pro on (15x10) with 3 3/8 backspacing. If it was 4" of backspacing, or 3 1/2 (i think that's what those telstars are) then it would fit perfectly and a 29" takk tire would probably fit under the wheel well.

Anyways, yeah, those are the Telstars, I would think those are 15x8 in back with 4" of backspacing (that's the only backspacing you get with the 15x8's). The 15x10's come with 4 1/2" of backspacing, which I hear works fine - but I have been told a 15x8 is all you need. For the front, if you're just using it for street/strip use, then a 15x6 would work great with a 205/70/15 wheel - that comes with 3 1/2" of backspacing and works fine.

Do you know if their heavy? I love the style but if their too heavy i will go with Bogarts. Do you think a 10" rim is too wide? (sticks out) I want to use a 10.5 tire.

No, they're not heavy, they're a light wheel. I think the Telstar 15x8 is a 17lb wheel, and the 15x6 I would imagine a little lighter.

Not sure if the Telstar wheel sticks on with 4 1/2" of backspacing on the 15x10. I would imagine it doesn't, since my Convo Pro with 3 3/8 sticks out about 1/4" an inch to a 1/2".

Personally, I'd go with the 15x8 instead, unless you're running some incredibly fast times =x.

I only got the 15x10 convo pros because they were new and I got them for 150$ for both.
