Tire Size

Greetings All,
Need some advice on tire size for our 87 WE4. Recieved a outstanding Christmas gift of 4 rims size 17x8 with 41/4 inch backspace. What would you suggest for the tire size. I have considered 245/45-17 front and 275?40-17 rear. I have not had much experience messing with the tire sizing and would appreciate suggestions for instance would this size fit OK. Thanks

I know the 275/40R17s fit on the back with 17x9s and a spacer, I don't remember the backspacing, but they should fit with little or no trouble. HTH!
