Torque Conv or Trans?

I have a strange problem and thought the experts might shed some light. Either my trans or the torque convertor seems to have problems after I drive the car around 30 minutes. It is very hard to get going after a stop. It takes off fine when it is cold and sometimes when it is hot. I have a 3200 vigalante stall and the car seems somewhat rough at startup whether cold or hot until some rpms are made. The vibration is not there in park or neutral and less in reverse. TIA

Is it a L/U converter? If so, it could be that the converter is not unlocking when the trans gets hot. It happened to me - I replaced the TCC solinoid and all is fixed.

It is a lockup so maybe I will try that first. Thanks for the reply.
