torque converter bad?

Can you tell me symptoms of a bad torque converter. Coming home from the track, just driving normal, when the car would shift into 2nd the car would bog down really bad and felt like it was bucking. It is a stock converter.

Sounds like you've got a sticking TCC solenoid in the transmission. Do a search for TCC solenoid in this forum as this has been discussed multiple times here before.

I originally thought it was a slippage problem in the beginning, But it turned out that my TCC was bad and cause the SAME symptoms your having. The tranny would hit 2nd gear but the TCC would come on as soon as it hit 2nd and felt like a slipping 2nd gear.
