torque convertor clutch

when i slow down or accelerate and low speeds... like under 10 mph
the car is jumpy and bogs down kind of...
i unplugged the switch to the trans and everything is good
no bogs and rides smooth...
now is this bad for the trans?
or just not good to go on the highway?

You really don't want to operate your transmission for extended periods of time with that disconnected. It'll only take an hour or so and a few bucks to repair it properly with a new TCC solenoid.
