Which line on the transmission is the feed line and which is the return line? from a side view i would like to think the top one of the trans case is the feed line to the radiator but i want to be sure. Also is there supposed to be a rubber O ring on the tranny dipstick tube?

Top is Cooler Feed/Out, bottom is Cooler Return/In.
Dipstick tube hole in Case should have the Boot/Grommet style seal, Late style. Older style use O-rings.
