tranny won't shift

The problem is my tranny won't shift into gear at about 50-55mph it sits there and redlines untill i let off on it and step back on it. Because of this i lost to a mustain snake (cobra), but dont think i got killed, the situation wasnt all that good. I warmed up my street tires and began to boost up, I could only hold about 2 1/2lbs of boost befor my tires would begin to spin. Well the flager saw this and flaged me while still boosting, we both got off even and i began to pull on him really fast untill my tranny began to do its thing. It would sit there and redline untill i let off and really thats all the mustain needed to beat me by a car length . Any help on what it might be because this mustain really needs to get served because not only does he not recognize these wonderful machines he thinks i brought a low rider out to race. I let him baith him self in his ignorance because i will be back to wipe that stupid pony smile off his face thanks in advance you guys.

if the shift timing is good at all other throttle angles(and it probably isnt )i would have to say to loosen up the tv cable so tv is lower than governor pressure at this speed to allow a shift to happen .if this dont help its a bum governor ,or the wrong valve body and governor combination.ckperformance.com
