Transmission fittings

What size fittings are in the tranny case? I would like to replace them with an AN type fitting to run an external cooler. TIA

1/4 in.

1/4 in. NPT--Pipe thread. Pipe threads are tapered but these are straight. I have done what you want to do. You will need 1/4 in. pipe by whatever AN size. I used #6. FYI a 45 degree fitting right off the trans works good. Either the adapter or the AN fitting. Best of luck.

Lee, ended up using aeroquip #6 and turned out nice..glad to get rid of the ugly metal lines.
