Transmission issue I think

OK so went to track yesterday and after a few runs I was pulling out to go make another pass and noticed that it was not pulling out I had to really give it gas to get it to move... Didn't run anymore I pulled on the trailer didn't want to hurt it.... This morning I decided to check something outy cousin said shift to first gear manually and sew if it does it. Low and behold it works fine when manually shifted to 1st gear. Ideas sounds trans related to me

Mine did the same thing a couple of weeks ago.Then took it back to the track and trans went on first pass with a whining sound.Sounds like converter or pump on mine.

Call Dave, explain exactly what its doing, I'd like to know too since I plan on running one of his transmissions too...

I talked with trans guy he thinks sprag in trans broke gonna get it out in a few weeks

my old coverter had major issues and would sometimes perform like that... But I just noticed that Dave Husek did the trans... so you are in good hands as Dave built my car from the ground up....Motor and Trans....

I was told it was probably the sprag in transmission... Also if my car is not trapping mph like it should it went 11.3 @ 117 should I have converter tightened on top end I went 1.69 60' spinning track wouldn't hold for nobody that day. But ran 7.20@96mph 1/8 the mile FYI. I'm sending trans out think I should send converter to?

Call and ask him.if my Trans comes out converter always gets freshened.

Talked to him he wants to go through converter to make sure no damage was done but he thinks the converter is fine and not to worry about mph he said its only off by 1/2 mph... We will see spring time
