Transmission Mount???

When im driving my transmission makes a clunk noise, and when i slow down or speed up it feels like it pulsating back and forth moving front to back, i was wondering if its the transmission mount or something else

It could be the rear trans mount has deteriorated, but more likely I'd be checking the u joints on the drive shaft also.
