Tried to build a car in my basement today!

I built my first engine, a SB Chevy, years ago in my basement....without an engine stand. I put plastic on the floor and just rolled it back and forth as needed. I had to build the shortblock in the basement without the heads because the door was too small for the engine with the heads to pass thru and it was too heavy to pick up by hand!!! Wouldn't ya know it, the night before I installed it in my driveway (no garage)we had 2" of snow. I didn't even own a drop light, I used my bedroom lamp.

Those were the days!!!
