Just a general reminder, after suffering yet another quick wrist burn from the trouble light last week (lol), I decided to take advantage of the latest flourescent technology and do something about it. If your poor peepers are like mine, a 75W is not bright enough in there, but a 100W causes a ton of heat and burns the crap out of you if you just brush against the metal bodied reflector cap thingie. So last time at the grocery store I picked up a Sylvania CF23EL/Minitwist in this case, which specs out at a mere 23W energy usage, but the same light output (~1650 lumens) as a 100W incandescent. Wow what a nice difference, the light is whiter and even better, yet the thing hardly even gets warm now... Rock on :D

Amen! I did the same a month ago after burning a spot in my carpet  I just hope it lasts longer than an incandescent bulb (as far as durability), I went through 3 that day!
