Started hearing a knock today coming from the left rear cylinder. Pulled the valve cover, started it and no oil came out. So the oil pump went and now I've got what I'm pretty sure is a rod knock.
My Dad and I haven't decided yet if we're going to attempt the rebuild or just take is somewhere.
So is there a reputable engine builder in the Midwest. I'm in East Central Wisconsin (Oshkosh area) and don't want to travel to far with the engine, but I will if that makes the difference between having someone reputable do it.
