well this is the thing. I have learned alot from everyone on here, but i do prefer to work on it myself. the problem now seems to be my BLM's are at about 150. long story short, i checked alot of things out and im to the point where i want someone who knows these cars up and down to just fix this problem be for i loose it. finding the time is also a big factor. so im really not giving up, or not trying. i just want someone to fix this car so i can enjoy it again! then i can have a fresh start on maintaining it again!

Have you replaced the PCV valve with an ac/delco one? Have you replaced all the vacuum hoses and hose clamped as many as you can? Have you checked the EGR valve and EGR solenoid? Have you replaced the O2 sensor, being very careful when you install it? Have you adjusted your fuel pressure? Have you replaced the intake manifold gasket with a good fel-pro one? The sheetmetal factory type doesnt seal that great unless all the machining tolerances on the engine are dead nuts perfect, and factory machining is far from it. Try all that and get back to us.

Try VaderV6's ideas....hes right on the $. Also, use the search function on this board for high BLM's, you will get only about 2,563 threads on this topic.;)

Fix a sandwich and sit back and start reading. After you have read everything there is about high BLM's you will realize one thread would have covered it all. My point is that there is only a limited number of things that will make your BLM's go up...dont get frustrated. Make a list of things to check and do one at a time.

Most important: Reset your ECM everytime and drive it to let it relearn. You CANNOT troubleshoot these cars sitting in your driveway. Ask me how I know...
