I pulled this crankshaft from my supposed '83 turbo 231, but since then we've come across several points of confusion, namely the block and heads contradicting each other on the year (block: 81, heads: 83).
Since it seems clear that the engine has been apart, and I lack the knowledge to know myself, I am unsure if this crankshaft is a genuine 3.8 turbo/4.1 crank. Any help would be great.
(Unfortunately, I believe this crank is shot, so I'm just trying to piece together this enigma while waiting for parts.)
If anyone knows were the casting number should be, that would also be great. Any help and expertise is appreciated!
