turbo decision

Ok here is my dilemma I have been waiting for a new turbo for awhile. One of the reasons I've been waiting is for the new Garrett Technology to be incorporated into an 85 turbo the other reason is of course money. Well I've been waiting for PT&E to get the technology from Garrett for 3 months and I just spoke with them and they only had 3 turbos done that were for 86/87 setups. I asked if they maybe would be ready to do mine and they said that they might but not any time soon because they are still waiting for stuff from Garrett not to menton that they are coming out with turbos for about 3 other models of cars. So now I'm wondering if I should hold off a little while longer for these turbos by Garrett wich might wind up bieng alot longer from what it souded like or should I go with a ta-33 wich I can just send to Limit Engineering and have them do it. Sorry for the long post I'm just undecided as what to do.

I'm very interested to see results from the new turbos. With that said, I doubt you will get one this year from PTE. I had a standard hotair turbo converted to a TA62 and it took 7 months. I can only imagine how long something like this would take from them.

John Craig has access to the same stuff PTE has including the new GT series Garret stuff. Call and speak to chopper and see what he can do for you.
