Hey, sorry to post here and scan tool tech, (I hate double-posting...) but I need help. Not sure how many people look at scan tool tech area...

Here is a cut and paste, and the link:

So I go out tonight to get some Tlink readings, go out make a few passes, then come home to look at them. When I select "REPLAY DATA", I select the runs I just made, but the version reads "3.X" instead of "4.0.5" like the rest. When I try to open them, it says it must be converted, so I resave them as the original name plus "b" (easeinto1b) and they save as 4.0.5, but are totallay garbled. It says I am running 22.6 lbs of boost at idle, which is 0 rpm, coolant temp is -40, 0.0 volts, 0 ESC, etc.

I assumed I needed to re-calibrate the boost harness, but that wouldn't explain why I have to convert from 3.X to 4.0.5. Why is it saving them as 3.X?????????????????????

Call Mototron and ask the experts....970-226-3867....Leave a message and they'll get back to you. :)

3.X data might be from an old recording from a previous version of the Tlink software....? Did you have an old (Tlink 3.xx) version of your computer? Did you delete it before installing the new version? Some thoughts off the top of my head....The guys in Ft Collins will know what is going on.

No, never had any other version of TLink, and the computer was slicked before I started messing with it. I even tried removing Tlink and reinstalling it, same thing. Saves them as 3.X and no where in the setup, settings, save as, etc does it even ask you if you want to save anything as 3.X... I will call them up, thanks for the contact info!

I will post back with results, just in case it ever happens again to someone else. ;)

You might fix the problem by downloading the current program again Here. Look along the left side of the webpage and you'll see different options for downloads. Erase your current program and then download the entire program including service pack 11. You can do that on the weekend, they'll be at work tomorrow. :)

Ken Mosher (turbo-Link) and Bob Bailey ( Scanmaster and directscan) are known for setting the standard in outstanding customer support.
