My engine is in the shop now being built. It had almost 200,000 kms on it and all that happened to it was a bearing. I am wondering if it would be OK to re-use my turbo on the new motor untill I get my new one. There is no play in the shaft at all and the impellers look to be in very good shape. It is the original turbo with a lot of kms on it, would it be OK to use or just wait untill the new turbo comes in? A good friend of mine is telling me to wait for the new one, he is worried that the original one may come apart and ruin my engine. Can someone please help me out with this problem.
