Turbo Thunder V
Event Notes

Turbo Pro 12.00-13.99
• This class will run the same as last year. We will ladder all cars after the 2nd round of eliminations.
• You will follow Quick-8 for the first round only
• After the first round you will be first up for the Turbo classes
• 5 tenths tree / bracket racing
• Single runs determined by previous round best reaction time

Turbo Super Pro 7.50-11.99
• You will follow Turbo Pro for the entire event
• 5 tenths tree / bracket racing
• Quick-8 round 1 losers will join you after their 1st round
• Single runs determined by previous round best reaction time

Quick-8
• A new class for this year
• Runs at Friday’s test-n-tune session are eligible toward your best qualifying time
• Cars will be laddered with the fastest qualifier racing the slowest, etc.
#1 vs. #8
#2 vs. #7
#3 vs. #6
#4 vs. #5
• 5 tenths pro tree / heads up racing
• You will be up first for the first round only, after that you will follow Turbo Super Pro.
• The faster qualified car receives lane choice throughout the event
• First round losers are eligible to join the Turbo Super Pro class but must be ready to run with them in their round 1 (cool down time is limited)
• Single runs determined by previous round best reaction time

Camping at the track
• $10 Fee for the weekend.
• Officially there are no hookups. Unofficially we have a chance at some 110v power if we get that parking area. I suggest you plan on not having power. Show up early on Friday for the best camp spots.

Best/Quickest/Fastest plaques
• All runs on Friday and Saturday are eligible toward these plaques

Eliminations
We will have 2 staging lanes at our disposal. Please stay with your cars during eliminations. Don’t make us come looking for you. Please pay attention to the race order, and do your best to set yourself up in the staging lanes.

Dave,
Are test 'n tune runs eligible for best/quickest/fastest awards, not just during the official racing ?
