Turbo trans am With 120 mph speedometer

I’ve ran across a 1989 turbo trans am and it has a 120 mph speedometer. I’ve never seen one that didn’t have the 140 speedo. Did some come out of the factory like that? Or has this one been fooled with?

does it have a boost gauge ?

Yes but the boost gauge is on the tach.
