i am looking to get a te 44 for my TR and i was just wounder what yous think of that turbo . is it a good turbo or not

Try doing a search for it. People ask about that turbo all the time. From what I've heard...it kicks arse.

unless you plan on major changes you will have to use a ta series turbo(ta-49).the reason being you need to be able to bolt your throttle body to the turbo,and te turbos have a cast in inlet.

the ta-49 and ta-60 are good street turbos.

Besides the mounting problems (unless you're running an intercooler), the TA49 is a great turbo. Plenty turbo for mid 11s and it spools like a stocker.
